Vote NO on Issue 25! 

This amendment prohibits serving on City Council if you hold “any position in federal, state, county, municipal, or school district government to which a person is chosen by election or appointed by a public official or body.” This amendment could:

• Prohibit Public Employees from serving on City Council

• Overturn Council President Paul Marnecheck’s 2023 landslide election victory, which would:

  • • Remove Marnecheck in the middle of his term due to his day job as a public employee

    • Allow the same City Council who proposed this ban to handpick Marnecheck’s replacement for the remainder of the term (through 2027)
